How I Wasted Twenty Bucks...

But before I get to any of that... I'm not sure if you realized or not, but I just realized that I've been completely forgetting to put my movie/TV show quotes on my blog posts! Why didn't anybody tell me?!?  Well, for obvious reasons (one of them being my borderline unhealthy obsession), 3 guesses what show this is from. ;)

Okay, now I'll get to the point.  You know what's crazy?  $20 t-shirts.  You know what's even crazier?  That I bought one >.< I know, I know!  It's such a waste of money.  Also, it's just a yellow t-shirt with something written on it- not telling what, it's a secret ;)- but I'm feeling very guilty right now.  Oh well.  I'll get over it.

Last night was our school's 4th football game of the season, and we're 4-0 right now.  For those of you unfamiliar with football lingo, that means we've won all 4 of our games!! In the ocean of high school football in our county, I'd say we're like a Killing Whale or something.  Not a shark, because whales are bigger than sharks.  Plus, there is no shark called a Killing Shark.  I looked up up.  Also, there is no such thing as a purple shark.  Come on.

Anyway, I went to the game last night.  Some of my friends (YOU know who you are) really can't stand football.  To be honest, when I was younger I never liked football, but that was because of my parents, who would only watch PBS and David Letterman if it weren't for me, but we can NEVER watch The News or The Football.  I didn't even know who the Redskins were until about 5th grade.  But somehow, I got exposed to it, and I actually don't think it's all that bad.  I think going to HS games is really fun, and, unlike some people, I don't just go to watch hunky seniors wrestle in tight pants.  So if you're one of those people who says "Bah! Football is for fat rednecks!" Or something, to you I say "No.  Football is for AMERICANS." (Insert creepy smile here.)

High School is so WEIRD!

Oh my gosh... I don't even know what to say... but high school is pretty much nothing like I imagined.  For one thing, it's nothing like in any of the movies.  And sadly, no one skips through the halls singing in between classes.  Also, none of the teachers are anywhere close to being as cute as Mr. Schuster... :)

Well, so far this year, there are bad things and good things:

BAD
-I have no classes with my two best friends that go to my school
-I have 1st period gym
-On even days (even numbered class periods) my backpack weighs about 200 pounds
-My locker is in this creepy little back hallway which I like to refer to as Hades because it's small, dark, loud, crowded, full of scary people, far away from all of my classes and the lockers are painted red, which gives the hallway an eerie red glow
-I have a buttload of homework

GOOD
-I have pretty much all of my friends in my lunch on odd days
-My English teacher loves me because I wrote a paper that she thought was really good and now in her eyes I can do no wrong!
-In just 2 weeks I've actually made a bunch of new friends in my gym class, which was previously full of total strangers
-GLEE STARTED AGAIN!!!!! (yes that counts as school related)
-Even though there's a lot of homework, none of my classes are all that hard

So all in all, I think I'll survive.  So far, no one has shoved me in a locker, or tried to beat me up or anything like that.  (Because we were all totally expecting that to happen -_-)

Also, the homecoming dance is coming up in less than a month!! That'll be exciting...

It is the last day of summer.  I feel like crying.  I know I just wrote that post about how we shouldn't be too depressed about school starting but... sigh... I'm such a hypocrite.
