There are many things for us to be afraid of in this world, like global warming, Sarah Palin, bears, rabies, bears with rabies, war, food poisoning, hornets, teen pop stars, radon gas, dentists, disease, and whatever actually does happen in Vegas that's so bad people decide it needs to stay there.
But what I'd really like to address today is what is scaring me the most right now- teenage boys.
First off, I want to answer your question by saying no, I'm not going to spend this post ranting about some confusing guy in my history class that I'm in love with (of course, there is no such guy, that sentence was purely fictional). No, instead I'm going to be addressing what teenage boys talk about with each other, at least a majority of the ones I know. That, you may or may not be surprised to hear, is violence.
Yes, violence. Sad, but true. If you know any teenage boys, it's likely that they enjoy playing Call of Duty, Black Ops or some war-related video game. Also, a few of my friends that are guys have a frighteningly extensive knowledge about guns, almost like your stereotypical teenage girl might know a little too much about clothing or make up.
Of course, I'm not making a statement that all teenage boys are going to grow up to be violent killers. I'm just saying some of their habbits scare me...
Well, seeing as there's really not much more I can say on this topic and I'm beat tired, good night!
I know what you mean! It's like all they know about are guns and weapons and violent video games! And almost all of them have some sort of pocket knife or weapon they carry around with them outside of school!
ReplyDeleteHey, JJ Abrams made the new Star Trek movie! *pouts*
ReplyDeleteReally? GAH! I'm so sorry! I take that back then :( i meant that some of his sci-fi things scare me, but actually it turns out he did Lost also... going back to edit that one out
ReplyDeleteOh, yes. Those are all certainly extremely frightening things. Sarah Palin, bears with rabies...global warming...*shudder*
ReplyDeleteAh, yes, violence. Of course, there are a great number of boys who have pacifist values, contrary to popular belief...but I completely understand. xD Oh, certain members of the male population and violence. There is a relationship there that we will never be able to understand. :P
