Resolution #3

Well, what do you know?  Yet another one of my new years resolutions is done!  It's only been, what, like four months?  ...Don't judge me.  I bet you didn't even do one.
Now for the ceremonious crossing out of the item from the list:
Find a new Chinese take out dish that I'll eat
(applause, applause) Settle down, settle down everyone.
I feel very proud of myself for this one, mainly because ever since I can remember I've been eating Chinese food every week of my life, and with a few exceptions I've always ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken.  Mainly this is because I'm just plain afraid to try anything else.  But, thanks to my awesome friends, I've discovered not one, not three, but TWO new Chinese food dishes!  Well, technically three, but I didn't like the third one.  So it doesn't count.
The first new Chinese food is Tofu in General Tso's Sauce, or as I prefer to call it, General Tsofu.  The second one is Lo Mein noodles.  Om nom nom. Good stuff.  In case you're wondering which one I didn't like, it was Cashew Chicken.  I should have seen that one coming, seeing as I don't like cashews...
In other New Years Resolution Completion in April news, over spring break I plan to make a start on my fourth resolution: writing a song.  In order to complete this one, I need to write lyrics, write and preform all the instrumentals, and (the part I'm most worried about) sing the song.  Seeing as I can play two and a half instruments, have lots of free time and enjoy writing poems, this shouldn't be too hard, right?  I'll be able to cheat a little with my keyboard, because I can set it to sound like other instruments.  Also, I have Rockbands 1-3 in my basement so I can practice my singing.  This should be fun!  After I finish the song I'll find some way to post it on this blog, unless it's horrible, in which case I won't.
Now all I need to do is come up with something to write about.  I've never actually written lyrics to a song before.  Just the occasional mandatory poem in elementary school.

Violets are blue
And Roses are red
Bug me again James
And I'll chop off your head
